How it Works

The Connecting Project brings people and community together. An open forum launches our work together. This forum between participants and our staff allows each person to explore personal passions, learn about community needs, and begin to think about strategies for community change.
The Connecting Project staff then plans a daylong outing around charitable interests. This is an engaging educational experience that helps to clarify ways people can all give from the heart in a meaningful way. The Connecting Project staff works with participants to personally design a program that meets individual needs.

The Connecting Project experience benefits the person as well as the community as a whole. The process is designed to increase awareness; to open people’s minds to needs and think creatively about possible solutions; and, to experience first-hand the positive work already being accomplished in the community. The day outing spent with The Connecting Project has the potential to establish life-long giving skills for each generation that is involved.
